Editorial Standards
No one ever pays to be featured.
Not now. Not ever.
I.Invitation Only
Every feature is chosen by the editors. Subjects are invited on the strength of their story, never their reach, revenue or willingness to promote. Nominations are welcome; selection is ours alone.
II.Accuracy and Fact Review
Each essay is built from a recorded interview and checked against public records and the subject's own account. Subjects may review facts for accuracy, but they do not approve or edit the essay.
III.Corrections
When we get something wrong, we correct it promptly and say so at the foot of the essay, with the date of the correction. Write to the editors through our contact page.
IV.Transparency
The Emerson Review is published by Human Touch Publishing. We disclose any relationship between the publisher and a featured subject at the top of the essay. We carry no advertising.
